WHAT
Frankenculture seeks to examine the representation of such in-betweener culture in various fields of academia. It brings about franken-objects, which are designed artefacts which are created via a framework- they are normal in a conventional sense, but simultaneously express some form of being ‘frankensteined’ to create the final item. They create discussion between people about the functionality and cultural representation of Frankencultures.
In other words, frankenculture is a mess of various cultural interventions that utilize already existing artefactual forms to speak to / with people about culture and it's various facets that are often neglected within various fields and institutions. It is a constantly evolving blob of design things, and so is open to any contributions or comments!
